Jordan Brand created the Air Jordan 1 Mid Dia de los Muertos in honor of the famous Mexican holiday, Day of the Dead. The design uses colors and graphic patterns to pay homage to Mexican customs.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Dia de los Muertos is a nod to the traditional flowers that grow throughout Mexico. The shoe features a three-color palette of yellow, fuchsia, and white. The classic Nike Swoosh logo is featured on both sides of the shoe. However, the logo is accented with textured stitching that gives these shoes a unique look. The toe of the shoe features the text "Para Mi," which translates to "For Me," printed in yellow. A white midsole and fuchsia insole complete the design.
The sneaker market was radically changed by the Jordan 1 silhouette. The first model was released in 1984, and since then it has been surrounded by huge hype. It is no wonder, since we are talking about a sneaker marked by a living basketball legend. Many types of Jordan have been released, the most famous types are the aforementioned Jordan 1 low, mid, high, in addition to this, the Jordan 4, 6, 11 have recently conquered the biggest.
